Wow -they are simply beautiful pictures. Your jacks are so varied and inspired. I am in awe that you find the time to carve so many. Were the kids to scared to come to the door? I might have been.
ReplyDeleteIt took us 3 hours on Monday to clean and carve the pumpkins, a joint effort between Mr. and Mrs. Haunted Eve. We've been doing this for so long that we've got it down to a science. Surprisingly, most of the kids weren't scared of the haunt at all. Only one or two younger ones needed some coaxing from their parents. In fact a lot of kids were fascinated with the giant scarecrow prop we had at the front entrance of our walkway and kept squeezing its hand. A lot took pictures in front of it. We're always happy to get such positive responses from our efforts each Halloween.
