After reading Pumpkinrot's post regarding Jack's Abby Pumpkin Crop pumpkin spiced lager which Mr. Haunted Eve saw at his local Wegmans, he almost succumbed to the impulse to try yet another pumpkin beer. But a display of Ommegang's All Hallows Treat imperial chocolate peanut butter stout put him on a different path. Mr. Haunted Eve has often regretted his pumpkin ale purchases over the years. Granted he may ultimately regret this purchase as well, but he does prefer darker beers like stouts and porters in the colder months.
Love the graphics on the Halloween beers but alas, like Mr Haunted Eve, I usually have regrets. I like a good IPA.
ReplyDeleteWe saw those this weekend, but didn't purchase. Definitely post your thoughts! It's like a minefield out there. Thankfully there are places where you can build a six pack so you don't have to commit to so many. Here's hoping you enjoy it.
