We stopped in a Home Sense store last night and saw some very nice Halloween decorations for sale. We even found a Martha Stewart 3 skull candelabra for $15 that will go perfectly in our bookcase prop for our Halloween 2024 haunt. We then headed over to Michaels (who's still putting out Halloween items) to see if we could find a vine garland design that would would work around our front door with the purple/green/blue lights we're going to put up on the house and around the door for late September and the month of October until we set up the haunt for Halloween night. We got the last four 5' strands of Ashland Halloween dark green leaf/purple veined Fittonia vine in the store. The Fittonia vine will get repurposed throughout the haunt along with the myriad of other faux vines and faux Spanish moss we've collected for this year's haunt. The cashier said the stuff is selling out as fast as they put it out! We'll keep making the rounds in hopes of finding neat items for this year's haunt, next year's haunt, and in our home for Halloween in general.
