Digital Projector Effects Test
Tonight we did a test of our new video projector using some AtmosFX "digital decoration" videos with the projection screen up in the window. This was an arduous task. We had purchased a "projector & video" bundle from a big box store back in 2016 to use for a future Halloween. We first tested it out back in September and were extremely disappointed with the output brightness and image resolution of the projector. So we purchased a better projector (VANKYO Leisure 430 3600 Lux Video Projector), but then realized trying to get the projector at the proper height and distance to fill the projector screen window using existing furniture, books, and boxes was not going to work either, so we purchased a proper platform stand (Pyle PLPTS4 Pro Universal Device Stand). It finally all came together tonight! Should be a big hit on Halloween night.

Looks terrific - I hope it is something you can use in your haunt for years, justifying the expense.
ReplyDeleteWe do too. We're reaching an age where building and putting up props like our carnival ticket booth and mini-mausoleums are coming to a close. Even putting those skeletons and rope lights up along the edge of the roof was a bit too much this year.
