Halloween 2026 Postmortem

Perhaps one of our most successful yard haunts across the board. While cold last night, the entire night was clear and dry. We had 117 trick-or-treaters. While that count is not our record (142 in 2024), this Halloween was well over our running average of 100 since 2010. Lots of great compliments on the haunt from trick-or-treaters, parents, and local fans.

Frankenstein's Bride 2026 Yard Haunt

A nicely Halloween decorated "mansion" in Rochester's Neighborhood of the Arts on East Ave. Note all the orange candles and jack-o'-lanterns in the windows.

Buffalo Area Haunts 2026 Part 2

Oak Crest Cemetery Yard Haunt in Cheektowaga, New York. We had been wanting to visit this spectacular yard haunt for the past few years once we realized it wasn't that far away and in an area we've been to often over the years. However, every October for the past few years something always came up that prevented us from getting out there to see the haunt in person before we had to concentrate on setting up our own haunt just before Halloween. This year we made it! This haunt is darkly gorgeous from every viewing angle. Your eye catch's something new with each passing glance.

Wedding Preparations Are Underway

Preparations are underway for the monster and his bride's big day. The wedding will be held on October 31st. Igor will be the best man and Dr. Frankenstein will be officiating the ceremony. A grave robber will be busy digging up some more guests for this grand occasion along with any extra spare parts the bride and groom might need.

Museum Of The Dead 2026

This past Friday night we attended the Museum of the Dead Halloween party at the University of Rochester's Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester, NY. It was one of the best Halloween parties we've been to in decades!
