The Halloween 2022 Candy Vault
We have 108 full sized candy bars as the main candy to hand out and 3 bags of fun sized candy for "emergency reserves". Always a hard call to figure out how much to buy, even when using stats from the prior 12 Halloweens in this neighborhood. We average 93 ± 22 trick or treaters. After making generously filled treat bags for the past few years, we decided to go back to just giving out full sized bars. We determined that not only does it make things easier for us, it's actually more cost effective than making up the treat bags. Kids always seem the happiest when you hand them a full sized bar anyway.
