Haunt Lighting Checklist

With Halloween only 4 weeks away, it's time to start making a list of all the lighting and various power requirements needed for all the props in the haunt. Have to make sure everything is loaded up with batteries or charged for Halloween night. We also have a tote in the garage full of various length multi-outlet outdoor extension cords for powering all the LED flood lights and the fog machine, and a case of custom caramel buttered popcorn scented 4 oz. jar candles for all our jack-o-lanterns. It's a daunting task to make sure everything is up and running before the trick-or-treaters start to arrive on Halloween.
  • 10 LED PUCK LIGHTS, 2 FOR BEHIND THRONE, 4 FOR APOTHECARY JAR RISERS, 4 FOR BEHIND TOMBSTONE (30 AAA BATTERIES NEEDED)
  • 2 MOVIEGOER SKELETONS LIGHT UP EYES (2 9V BATTERIES NEEDED)
  • 3 HANGING PILLAR CANDLE LANTERNS ON POSTS ALONG GARAGE (6 DOUBLE AA BATTERIES NEEDED)

  1. That's my least favorite part of the haunt - the batteries!

    1. Yes the batteries cost us a small fortune every year. And because the haunt is up for such a short period of time we can't risk using ones from the prior year. Always need to be a fresh batch for the annual haunt.
