Installed the new steel prop foot mounting pads from Spider Hill Prop Works on the mannequin wood base for our classic mummy prop. Since 2016 we have been using their PVC mounting bases with Spider Joints for ankles, but in order to use the plastic feet from our 2012 Spirit Halloween zombie prop those mounts weren't going to work due to their shape. The mummy prop will be padded out, dressed in gray thermal underwear as the costume base layer, and then wrapped with strips of gray, white, and black creepy cloth. As a final touch, large plastic beetle toys spray painted with blue/purple color shift paint will be placed on the Mummy's body in homage to the 1999 movie's voracious scarab beetles.
That is going to look stellar!
