Last night we tweaked a few things after looking at our prior sneak peak photos of the preliminary haunt setup. We added black creepy cloth over the top of the front dining room window bump out because the spider web mesh fabric looked a little too "pristine" and flat over the window. We also added more gray creepy cloth fabric to the front of the porch and then put up black plastic chain over it. Also decided to use some of the plastic chain to hang the LED rechargeable candle lanterns from the planter hooks on the front of the porch versus directly on the hooks. We also set up the mini-mausoleum this morning as well as the two LED RGB flood lights that will be used to spotlight the mannequins/throne prop flanking the hell hole prop to get the angles and color choices dialed in tonight. Supposed to rain quite a bit Saturday, so we'll put the rest of the props out early on Halloween. Some sporadic showers are predicted for Halloween morning, but should be gone by trick-or-treating time in the evening (typically kids don't start showing up until after 6 PM). Hopefully the haunt photo shoot will take place on Halloween afternoon and evening along with our new fog machine up and running as well (we'll stick it on the porch pointing towards the front of the dining room on Halloween night if it's still drizzling/raining) but we also have Monday as a backup for the photo shoot.
