"Hell Hole" Prop Work Started

Got the frame built for the "Hell Hole" prop yesterday and started applying the sculpting wire mesh to the frame today. Unfortunately ran out of mesh and had to order another roll. After the mesh is installed, Great Stuff spray foam will applied in rings on the outside, working from the bottom up, with the hope it looks like a "lava flow mound" in shape. A light coat of light gray and charcoal gray "Chalked" spray paint will be applied and sealed with a matte clear coat protective spray. The inner dome will be lined with a stringer of 50 C9 LED bulbs in solid orange (25) and twinkle red (25), with the goal that some glow comes through through the "lava mound" and the 5 small skeleton props in the opening will be illuminated as well. We have waterproof battery powered color changing "puck" lights that can be added for extra "oomph" if needed. The base of the prop is ~ 4 feet in diameter, while the opening is about 20 inches in diameter and the overall height is 16 inches (the same as the large plastic cauldron we used to get an idea of overall scale of the prop in regards to our small skeleton props).
