Weather Update

We've unfortunately had a long run of warmer and dryer than usual weather for the past few weeks which means the law of averages may not be in our favor. The weather is expected to shift by Sunday bringing cooler temps and rain. Halloween looks 50/50 right now for rain depending if this system passes through within a couple of days or hangs around. If Sunday is wet and rainy then we have to push jack-o'-lantern carving to Monday (and will have to drill drainage holes in the bottom of the pumpkins) and haunt set-up to Halloween morning. We prefer to set up the night before to tweak the prop placement and lighting and get a jump on photographing the haunt, but we may have to postpone photographing it to late Halloween night or even leave the haunt up for one extra day/night. And as expected, it's predicted to be windy as well, so looks like the fog machine will sit out yet another Halloween. What's sad is that for about the past two weeks we've had mostly beautiful warm and calm nights. Let's hope the Halloween spirits come through for us!

  1. Here's to wishing you the best of luck in regards to weather. It would be a shame if all your hard work could not be enjoyed.

  2. Here we've had pretty good autumnal weather so far. Very eerie too. Almost perfect for Halloween.
