Mexican Hot Chocolate

Sometimes what makes a yard haunt successful are the little details. Many years ago we learned that when you have a concentrated area of a dozen or more jack-o'-lanterns lit by high quality scented candles the smell literally permeates the air. Quoting one trick-or-treater, "Your house smells yummy!" So we always try to use festive fall scented candles. Last night we went to Yankee Candle and filled our basket with the traditional "Pumpkin Pie" votives but stumbled upon a delicious smelling "Chocolate Layer Cake" candle, which led to the idea of "Mexican Hot Chocolate" for this year's Dia de los Meurtos themed haunt. So we complimented the chocolate scented candles with "Cinnamon Vanilla" scented candles, hoping we achieve the desired effect on Halloween night.
